Zepbound interactions
| Taken with | What the label says |
|---|---|
| Insulin or sulfonylureas | Taking it alongside insulin or a sulfonylurea, including glipizide or glimepiride, raises the chance of low blood sugar. Your doctor may then reduce the doses of these medicines. |
| Oral medicines | It slows stomach emptying, which may change how other pills are absorbed. |
| Birth control pills | Birth control pills may not work as well for a time when you take it. After you start and each time the dose goes up, choose a method that is not oral, or add a barrier method. |
| Warfarin and narrow-range drugs | Drugs such as warfarin, for which small changes in drug levels matter, need closer monitoring. |
