What may explain it?
These medicines slow how quickly your stomach empties. You may get sulfur burps when food sits longer, most of all after a large or fatty meal.

What helps, step by step
- Reduce how much sugary and highly processed food you eat.
- Go easy on high-fiber foods right after a dose.
- End your meal when you feel full. These medicines make your stomach empty more slowly.
- Eat slowly. Your brain needs some time to notice when you feel full.
- Go easy on fatty, greasy and sugary foods because they often cause symptoms.
- Let your prescriber know if the problem does not ease. A different GLP-1 may be suggested, or dose increases may be slowed.
Look up anything from the drugstore with the GLP-1 interactions checker before you take it.
