What may explain it?
They cause your stomach to empty more slowly. Because food stays in your stomach longer, sulfur burps may appear, most often after you eat big or fatty meals.

What helps, step by step
- Eat less sugary food and highly processed food.
- Foods high in fiber should be limited right after your dose.
- Choose smaller meals and stop eating once you feel full. Your stomach empties more slowly when you take these medicines.
- Eat slowly. Your brain needs time to recognize when you are full.
- Go easy on fatty, greasy and sugary foods, which often bring symptoms on.
- If it does not ease, tell your prescriber. Your prescriber may slow the pace of dose increases or suggest a different GLP-1.
Before taking anything from the drugstore, use the GLP-1 interactions checker.
