What helps, step by step
- Reduce sugary and highly processed foods.
- Right after you take a dose, limit high-fiber foods.
- Stop eating when you feel full, and choose smaller meals. These medicines slow down how fast your stomach empties.
- Eat slowly. Your brain needs time to notice when you feel full.
- Symptoms are often brought on by fatty, greasy, and sugary foods. Eat them in moderation.
- If the problem does not improve, let your prescriber know. Another GLP-1 may be suggested, or dose increases may be slowed.
Check anything from the drugstore with the interactions checker for GLP-1 before taking it.
