Wegovy and Wellbutrin: the verdict

The practical rule
- Let both prescribers know that you take the other medicine, and never change either dose on your own.
- Tell your GLP-1 prescriber about every pill you take, including this one.
- Ask your pharmacist whether any of your pills require a steady blood level. Those may need checking when you start or increase the dose.

Wellbutrin with other GLP-1s
None of the 10 GLP-1 labels mentions Wellbutrin (bupropion) in its drug interaction section. Each label carries the same general caution about oral pills, so the answer is the same for this drug class.
The same question applies to Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound.
