What the Wegovy label says
Antidepressants do not appear on the Wegovy label. The lines listed here still apply to it.
| Named in the label | The risk | What the label tells doctors |
|---|---|---|
| Oral medicines | Pills absorbed differently | Because stomach emptying slows, other pills may be absorbed differently. |

The practical rule
- Continue taking your antidepressant, and tell your prescriber about changes in your mood or worsening side effects.
- Tell your GLP-1 prescriber about this medication and every other pill that you take.
- Ask your pharmacist if any of your pills need to maintain a steady blood level. A check may be needed when treatment starts or the dose increases.

Antidepressants with other GLP-1s
The drug interaction sections of all 10 GLP-1 labels omit Antidepressants. Each one gives the same general warning about pills you swallow, so the answer does not change anywhere in the class.
That question also applies to Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound.
