The practical rule
- Keep taking your antidepressant, and tell your prescriber if your mood changes or side effects get worse.
- Tell whoever prescribes your GLP-1 about all the pills you take, including this one.
- Ask your pharmacist if any of your pills needs a steady blood level. Checking those may be needed when you start or raise the dose.

Antidepressants with other GLP-1s
None of the 10 GLP-1 labels name any antidepressant in the drug interaction section. All of them carry the same general caution about swallowed pills, so the answer applies to the whole class.
The same question is asked about Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound.
