Who qualifies for it

Every GLP-1 sold in the US requires a prescription. For a use the label approves, a prescriber writes it:

Type 2 diabetes: Victoza lowers blood sugar for adults and for children age 10 and up, when used along with diet and exercise.
Victoza: Among adults who have type 2 diabetes and heart disease, it lowers the risk of heart-related death, heart attack or stroke.
Saxenda: For weight loss and keeping weight off long term, it is used with diet and activity by adults and children 12 or older (over 60 kg) with obesity, or by adults with overweight and a condition related to weight.
