Why it happens on Ozempic
These drugs slow how quickly your stomach empties. When food sits longer, stool changes may follow, most of all after big or fatty meals

What helps, step by step
- Drink water throughout the day.
- Add fiber a little at a time, not all at once.
- Have smaller meals, and stop eating once you feel full These medicines make the stomach empty more slowly.
- Eat slowly. Your brain needs time to notice that you are full
- Cut back on fatty, greasy and sugary foods, since they often set symptoms off
- Tell your prescriber if the problem does not improve. They may raise the dose more slowly, or suggest a different GLP-1
Before taking anything from the drugstore, check it in the GLP-1 interactions checker.
