Keeping off the weight you have lost

  1. Talk to your prescriber first so your plan covers follow-up visits and any other medicines.
  2. Continue the eating habits you built while taking the drug. Include protein at each meal, smaller portions, and fewer sugary drinks.
  3. Keep moving. Strength training helps you hold onto the muscle you have.
  4. Agree in advance on the change that means you call your prescriber, and weigh yourself on a set schedule.
  5. If you take it for diabetes, ask what your blood sugar plan will look like after you stop.
