The practical rule

  1. Keep taking both as prescribed, and talk with your doctor if stomach upset continues.
  2. Tell whoever prescribes your GLP-1 about every pill you swallow, including this one.
  3. Ask your pharmacist if any of your pills need to remain at a steady level in the blood. They may need checks when you start treatment or raise the dose.
  4. Check your blood sugar more often during your first weeks.

The same question applies to Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Trulicity.
