What is different when you have prediabetes?
| What changes | What the label says |
|---|---|
| Hypoglycemia When You Use It With Insulin Secretagogues or Insulin | Taking it together with insulin or a sulfonylurea makes low blood sugar more likely, and those doses may need to be lowered. |
| Taken with insulin or sulfonylureas | When you take this medicine with insulin or with a sulfonylurea (glipizide or glimepiride are examples), your chance of low blood sugar goes up. The doctor may lower the dose of insulin or the sulfonylurea. |
