Which program applies to you
| How you pay | What applies |
|---|---|
| Insurance through work or the Marketplace | When you use the Ozempic Savings Offer, coverage can mean a fill costs as little as $25. Commercially insured with Ozempic coverage; government plans excluded. Maximum savings $100 per 1-month fill. |
| Medicare | You cannot use savings cards with Medicare, so the Part D copay for Ozempic still applies to you. Card terms exclude government plans. The Novo Nordisk Patient Assistance Program provides free medicine to people who qualify by income. |
| Medicaid | You cannot use savings cards with Medicaid. Whether Ozempic is covered depends on the Medicaid drug list for your state. Coverage for weight loss varies by state; the use most often covered is type 2 diabetes. |
| No insurance, paying myself | If you have no insurance, the lowest price you pay yourself for Ozempic each month is $149. That amount is the price of the Ozempic pill, starting at 1.5 mg, paid directly to the manufacturer's pharmacy. The Novo Nordisk Patient Assistance Program provides free medicine to people who qualify by income. |
